Our first ever Intermediate 2 class (F3) are off to the Cairngorms on Tuesday to spend the day studying a) features of glacial scenery and b) conflicts of landuse in the Cairngorms National Park. We will be taking the funicular to near the summit of Cairngorm, doing fieldsketching and observations from there, looking at tourist related land use along the 'ski road', paying a visit to the roches moutonnees at Dulnain and finishing off the day by completing a service study of Aviemore.If you are coming with us on Tuesday, you might like to do a bit of preparation by reading about the Cairngorms National Park.
