I took this picture of the Forum last week in Rome during a two day visit! Actually it was about thirty six hours..... I (along with 11 other Geography teachers )was taking part in a project funded by the Royal Geographical Society, The Geographical Association and the BBC to investigate the 'Geography of Happiness' in a number of locations in Europe and also to research perceptions of the UK.

This is one of my interviewees - a lady from the Netherlands. It was an incredibly interesting two days and I met some amazing people from all over the world who gave many thought provoking answers to questions such as 'what would make your home area a happier place?' Americans wanted more shops and Brazilians wanted better education ........
As you can see, we were provided with quite impressive 'kit' and filmed in some of Rome's most famous locations.

My companion for the trip was a Geography teacher from Kent who maintains a website for students of Geography. If you click here, you will link to his website which is called GeoResources. There you will find loads of information and links to other websites which would help you with your study of geography.
