The first high definition photos of Earth from space have been taken today by the Japan Space Exploration Agency. They show 'earthrise' and 'earthset' as viewed from the moon and are stills taken from a movie sequence which you can view by clicking on the image below.....
Perhaps I'm just a 'softie' but I am still always amazed by how beautiful our planet looks from
