Why not let Geography help you in deciding who to cheer for in the World Cup? The World Development Movement have devised a way of comparing a number of development indicators for all of the participating countries.
How about supporting the team that gives the most aid to poor countries? Perhaps cheering on the country that spends the most on healthcare? Or booing the country that spends the most on weapons? Just click on the teams playing in the match you are about to watch and see how they score on ten different supportability criteria.
It's a sort of Geographical Top Trumps meets The World Cup.
