The Weather Pixie

If you scroll down the sidebar at the right of the blog, you will see that I have added another little 'widget' to the blog. The weather pixie represents the current weather at Dundee airport and will change hourly as weather conditions change.

As the weather in Dundee changes, the 'weather girl's' clothes will reflect the weather and the graphic will show rain, snow, airborne particles and changes in cloud cover. Daylight, sunset and current moon phase are also displayed.

If you click on the weather girl you will link to a page where you can get more detailed information by putting 'Dundee, Riverside' into the drop down menu. For example, I have just been able to get the following ..

at 13:20 UTC, the wind was blowing at a speed of 8.2 meters per second (18.4 miles per hour) from Southwest in Dundee / Riverside. The temperature was 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit), and the pressure was 1,016 hPa (30.00 inHg). The relative humidity was 93.5%. There were a few clouds at a height of 244 meter (800 feet) and broken clouds at a height of 762 meter (2500 feet). The visibility was >11.3 kilometers (>7 miles).
