Richard Branson is seen here with Al Gore whose film about global warming 'An Inconvenient Truth' was screened in cinemas last year (see blog posting for September 29th 2006). The connection is that Branson has put up a £12.5 million prize for a competition to come up with a way of removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. What if the competition is won by someone who suggests grounding aircraft? Now, that would put Branson in a pickle!!
