...and we are 'almost certainly' to blame

According to a report published today by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, there can be little doubt that current global warming is the direct result of human activity. For the last couple of decades, scientific opinion on the causes of global warming has often been divided. Today, however, world experts on climate change have concluded that it is at least 90% certain that human emissions of greenhouse gases rather than natural variations are warming the planet's surface.
