Some people were up very early this morning to view sunrise at Stonehenge .....
Meanwhile, in the southern hemisphere, it is midwinter and my favourite webcam on South Georgia in the south Atlantic is showing a very different view..
It is interesting to compare the view now with what we saw back in December when it was midsummer there..
And as our summer wears on, it's nice to think that the penguins will soon be back!
On another topic, here is a final clue for the hat competition. I have to tell you that the owner of the hat has been correctly guessed but if you can name the person correctly and you compose a really good caption for the photo competition, you are still in with a chance of winning a prize...
The hat's owner met Henry Morton Stanley on the shores of Lake Tanganyika on 10th November 1871. "I presume" you will now have the answer!!
