The year is just one month old and already the predictions which were contained in my first posting of the year ( see Jan 5th) would appear to be coming true as January is set to be the second warmest ever recorded.We may have had a short cold snap last week (it is winter, after all!) but today it was a balmy 14 degrees in Dundee. This rose was caught blooming near Newcastle and there are reports of daffodils in flower in Devon. Some birds have even started building their nests! Click on the image to read all about it.
